Case study: Redesigning an Healthcare Products e-commerce website
A user has emailed the owner complaining about the site’s current version because it was impossible to complete a purchase. Apart from the outdated looking, I knew that the entire process would be challenging since the website violates some usability principles and best practices.
AMD ICONIC is a World level business that sells Healthcare products and accessories. They are Delivering ideas and designs to generate the greatest possible impact on customer health & wellness, apparel and promotional product.
Still, many users fail to purchase a product mainly because they don’t have all the information needed and the website has a confusing user flow.
Based on the user interview, most of the users have admitted to searching for electronics and viewing offers while on their mobile phones. Our site must be responsive.
To minimize the challenges users encounter on their purchase journey, we redesigned the website so users can easily and intuitively navigate the categories finding the information needed to make a purchase decision. In the long run, the redesign is meant to automate the purchase process while increasing their trust in AMD ICONIC’s online store as an Healthcare Product Retailer.
